Tanya & Rory’s Modern City Wedding | Glam Wedding at Brasco’s Skerries

Tanya & Rory’s wedding was like a reunion of sorts: both of us grew up 2 doors up from Rory (in Rush) and our families still live in the area so we all know each other really well since childhood! We photographed Tanya’s family in our studio recently so really, there were no strangers at this wedding! No ‘getting to know each other’, it was more like meeting old friends.

They told us from the beginning that they wanted their wedding to be relaxed & intimate, just a special day for them, their 3 gorgeous kids and their closest family and friends.  Tanya was always going to be an elegant and stylish bride, in her modern (and wonderfully on trend) blush pink beaded gown, perfectly accented by FABULOUS rose gold sparkly shoes and clutch bag. Rory’s navy suit was the perfect foil for the pops of pink throughout the day. We started the day with them in the city centre, going for a walk around one Rory’s favourite spots along the Grand Canal. Then we returned to Skerries for a few quick portraits at Skerries Mills followed by family portraits and the party in Brasco’s restaurant at Skerries harbour. We had so much fun with Tanya & Rory (and their adorable kids!) that we were sorry to say goodbye at the end of the day.
