Pet Portraits in aid of DSPCA | Yappy Hour! 2016
Pet Portraits in aid of the DSPCA
Bring your furry friends to Skerries on December 10th so they can star in a their very own portrait session, all in aid of DSPCA . Yappy Hour! Pet Portraits take place on Saturday between 10am and 6pm and booking is essential as it’s always a very popular event. Photographer Denise Cannon will be taking gorgeous portraits of pets all day in return for a €25 donation to the charity. Your donation pays for a half hour photo session that can include the humans in your family too and then you can choose to buy whatever photos you want, with special packages starting at just €99.
The DSPCA is currently caring for 96 puppies seized at Dublin Port, which includes their expensive medical bills as well as day to day care. Many of these puppies have severe medical problems due to the horrific conditions they were kept in prior to their seizure at Holyhead and their ongoing treatment and care is being funded by DSPCA. This is on top of the great work DSPCA does all year round rescuing and rehoming unwanted animals. With Christmas coming up their job will become even harder as they expect the usual influx of unwanted pets right after Christmas.
While DesignWorks Photography is donating each €25 session fee directly to the charity, they also ask that everyone who books into Yappy Hour to bring along a donation of one of the following essential items that DSPCA so desperately needs right now.
– Microwavable heating pad (snuggle pads)
– Vet bedding OR fleecy blanket (Penney’s ones are ideal)
– Collars and Leads
– Pet Toys
